• Recognize the efforts of students and teachers in developing the school websites
• Encourage the usage of Internet amongst the students in getting updates on school policies, activities and relevant educational materials
• Hone the students’ skills in ICT and copywriting

• The competition is open to all schools both public/private
• The websites must be developed and maintained by the schools' students
• The websites must have been uploaded within the last 1 year to ensure the information is current and valid
• The contents of the website must be informative as in terms of :
  • predominantly in reference to the schools’ background, performance, activities, contributions and facilities
• It must be original in terms of :
  • presentation e.g. organised, concise, inclusion of picture gallery
  • creativity e.g. use of Flash or Macromedia, links to education portal
  • style e.g. flow or writing, choice of designs, images and colours
• It must be in Bahasa Malaysia and/or English language
• Information in the website must be accurate and not fictitious
• The prize for the winner is RM 5,000

The Award Ceremony will be on 6 September 2005, in conjunction with the beginning of the ICT Month 2005 Malaysia at the Malaysian International Exhibition and Convention Centre (MIECC), The Mines Resort, Kuala Lumpur.
