The
MNCC Excellent ICT Teacher Award 2005
The MNCC Excellent ICT Teacher Award 2005 is an award that has been
presented since 1997. The main purpose of the award is to encourage the
development and the study of the discipline of information and
communications technology. The winner of the Excellent ICT Teacher
Award will be presented with a cash prize of RM 5000.00, a certificate
and a plaque for remembrance.
MNCC takes pride in inviting nominations of lecturers from
Faculties/Schools of Information Technology, Communications, Computer
Science or equivalent. As a guide, the nominees will be assessed based
on criteria as in the following:
- Publications (papers, reports, articles etc) at local and
international levels
- Books published
- Research done
- Awards received at national and international levels
- Involvement and participation in committees concerning
information technology or other relevant fields such as
telecommunications, multimedia, at institution, state, national or
international levels
- Other involvements such as outside or social activities, service
to the universitiy, supervision at post-graduate levels/research,
unpublished papers and off-campus teaching
The closing date for nominations is 5
August 2005. Each nomination must be made using the form
downloadable from here (OpenOffice-Writer
format MS-Word format)
and to be submitted via the respective Vice-Chancellors or
equivalent to the following:

The Award Ceremony will be on 6
September 2005, in conjunction with the beginning of the ICT
Month 2005 Malaysia at the Malaysian International Exhibition and
Convention Center (MIECC), The Mines Resort, Kuala Lumpur.
