IT Governance 2009 Conference

The start of 2009 brings new challenges to global organisations along with uncertainties in the global economy and many new threats and opportunities. As companies journey into unchartered territories, the principles of Corporate Governance will be challenged and tested to new levels. IT Governance being an integral part of good corporate governance will enter a phase that will see it being applied more rigorously in supporting companies strategies and maximising opportunities to support organisations in surviving through these challenging times. Governance is no more a buzzword, activities which are planned must now be executed and IT is no more a tool but a strategic alliance.

2009 marks the 8th year for ISACA/MNCC, IT Governance Conference and in line with the theme of our conference, the organising committee has developed a programme that will continue our journey when we first started back in 2002, i.e. to promote IT Governance. The first day of the
programme covers topic on Landscape, Environment and Standards and Frameworks. That sets the scene for the second day which will cover papers on Implementation, Solutions and Experience. Our distinguished panel of speakers is selected based on their vast experience and expertise in each topic.

Participants and experts will then have an opportunity to discuss IT Governance in a panel of discussion at the end of each day.

Be prepared to connect, discuss and challenge yourself in our conference. Most importantly participate and take home valuable insights to how IT Governance will help your organisation in these challenging times ahead.
