We are not switching as such. We started with OSS, even though our
original submission for the dags funding was based on windows
environment. Of course we need not have to pay for the licenses that we
originally budget for. But since DAGS would not fund us for hardware and
software cost, we could still proceed with the project as we did not
have to incur those costs. So I guess its savings on "opportunity
costs". I can document these costs but I don't think it fits into their
objectives.
