RE: [ossig] CAD Questions

Three years back I was looking around for a CAD program in Linux. I
remember reading a not-so-rosy review about LinuxCAD. I don't know if
the original debate is still there, but check it out at

If I remember correctly, you need to buy separate plug-ins for
importing/exporting formats and even printing! The total cost is far
more expensive that the base cost. If you really want to get things
done, those plug-ins are actually essential. 

AFAIK, there are no 'professional' CAD program in Linux, at least not
open source ones.
