i remember a system administrator of a unix box in a fairly large telco
once asking me, "apa itu inode ?" when i told him i had to newfs a slice
to increase the number of inodes. (said slice was holding my newsgroup
disk archive). today, i ask him if the boxes he buys has LRF support. he
usually says yes.
