you have highlighted my very point ...(thank you .. can i buy you a
beer?).... someone said the above this to you, i have always wondered
myself, these are believes that becomes "generalisation" supported by
"my personal experience" ...see we really don't know hence we can't
act/suggest/advise in an informed way.
i wondered why no research/surveys been done on this ?
eg. (below only idea ...probably need to understand distribution of
results etc before doing real survey ... )
Take 500 students who had 9As or greater, find out what they are doing
5, 10 years later.
Take another 500 students who didn't scored around 2-5As (preferably
similar age, economic and geographic background). What are they doing
5, 10 years later ?
It would be interesting ?
