Have you tried booting from the SCO boot floppies?  If you do not have 
them, you can download the images from the sites listed on 

 pcunix.com/SCOFAQ/scotec1.html#downloadboot

and after that try the methods recommended in     

 pcunix.com/SCOFAQ/scotec1.html

to edit the appropriate password-related files.
