Do you mean automatically switch? Wow...haven't seen those things before.

I would also like to suggest an alternative to multiboot using boot managers. Sometimes some oses don't play will with one or another and the risk of your boot sector being clobbered by stupid oses is too great for the likes of me.

There are 'devices' on the market called removable drive bays. They look like 'cages' for hard disks. They come in two parts, the bay/receptor - which fits into your 5.25" bays. The other part is the disk 'cage'. The cage slots into the receptor. Very neat and simple if manual operation.

This way, you can install different oses on different disks (great for testing CURRENT or RCs) and each can be happy being the 'sole' os in the machine. For example I have 2 or 3 old disks of about 2-4GB each and I use this to test configurations and stability of interesting oses (eg. netbsd, beos - going to try openbeos when it's more stable) . I used to keep a second 'permanent' disk for keeping data I want to transfer between oses but now I simply use my cdwriter and a cdrw - since the transfer is temporary anyway. (If you don't have a cd writer, GET ONE - it's cheap enough now and it is really, really useful.)

One side benefit to this setup is that upgrading hdds would not require opening the casing! :-)

The removable bays vary in price but I think you should be able to get one for RM40? Just make sure you get compatible bays for all your drives...
