Why did they ask to present here?  My opinion:

1) they know we do technology research / development,
they are targetting the academic / semi-academic
people with this .NET shared source.  They would
normally be doing this presentation to Universities.

2) they know some of Mimos is promoting open source,
others are just doing ICT and have no strong preference
either way, so good to divide us internally.

Personally, I think open source has a huge agenda
behind OSS promotion - or maybe, free software
has a huge agenda.   A freedom agenda.
