can't say i've noticed any problems on a machine that has RH9 installed
as a fresh copy, and another then did an upgrade from rh8.

tmnet's dns servers could be the problem. and maybe jaring has wisened
up, because they figured clever tmnet users were using their dns servers
instead of tmnet's!
