I have ~30 dumb video terminals (well okay, not *that* dumb, but
dumb-ish), all centrally managed with cfengine (http://cfengine.org).
I'm using DHCP for the IP address assignment, and figured that dyndns
was the easiest way of keeping track of who's who, and when I add or
subtract machines I don't have to think too much about it - just choose
a hostname, kickstart the install, and go drink some coffee. Plus I'd
never played with it before and wanted a chance to ;)
