Evening Talk Series on Managing ICT Projects in Challenging Time in this July

The Malaysia National Computer Confederation (MNCC) and
the Project Management Institute Malaysian Chapter (PMIMY) ICT
Special Interest Group will be organizing a series of evening talks on Managing ICT
Projects in Challenging Time.

The purpose of this evening talk is to provide opportunities for
the ICT community to share their real life experience on interesting and challenging
subjects in ICT project management.

Both MNCC and PMIMY are not for profit organizations.

This is the third Evening Talk in this series and it will be held
on the Wednesday, 30th July, 2003 at Sunway College, Sunway.

Title: When Construction Meets IT
Speakers:   Mr. Eric Gan and Mr. Sanjay Gopinath
Topics to be cover are:
- IT solutions for the construction - the next wave?
- Building your needs with IT: Emphasis on Enterprise Wide Project Management in Construction Industry.

Venue: Sunway College, Sunway, PJ
Time: 6:30pm
(Admission is Free)

Mr. Eric CL Gan is an Executive Program Developer, Trainer and
Consultant for the property development and construction industry. He is an
appointed trainer for contractors registered with CIDB (Construction Industry Development Board)
Malaysia and is a frequent public seminar speaker. An Architect by profession, Eric is the principal
partner of EGA Management Services and executive director of IPROTECH Sdn Bhd. He is
a member of the Malaysian Institute of Architects, a National Council member of FIABCI (the International Real Estate Federation)
Malaysian Chapter and a member of the Construction SIG (Special Interest Group) of the Project Management Institute, Malaysian
Chapter (PMIMY).

Mr. Sanjay Gopinath is a Masters in International Business from
Indian Institute of Foreign Trade,
the premier institute in International Business in India. He has
recently presented a paper titled ‘Value Marketing of IT Solutions
to Construction Industry’ at the International Convention on
Marketing of Technology Oriented Products & Services in the Globalized
Environment held at Indian Institute of Management, Banglore
(India). He was also a regular IT columnist for one of the leading
publishing houses in India.
