RE: [ossig] Enquiry about some software
I've not personally heard of Resin, but HomeSite, yes.
HomeSite was a software by Allaire, which has now been taken over by
Macromedia. Macromedia had decided to stop production on HomeSite and it has
since been replaced with Macromedia DreamweaverMX.
DreamweaverMX carries almost similar features of HomeSite and previous
version of Dreamweaver 4.0. Imho, homesite is a very useful tool for used
with web development. It supports php, asp, jsp, etc.
Its windoz based software and require licensing. Why not just carry on with
opensource software?
Cheers
Jason

Subject: [ossig] Enquiry about some software
Someone ha sasked MNCC about using the following software (yes they are
not OSS, but still ...) for their web application development. Will
appreciate experiences, opinions and comments from anyone who has used
them before.
1. Resin
2. HomeSite
