I'm afraid, this is not too much of a help.
As long as we've been hooked on tmnet, our setup was similar. And it
took a long time to find the culprit, since we had something similar. 
But actually, bind doesn't do so on its own. There is some darn program
trying to contact a site outside, and this side - assume bind is set up
as caching - comes with changing names.
Try to disconnect the LAN. (And reboot the server, I'd say.) If it still
does so, check the daemons. And settings.
There are some websites out there that 'refresh' and don't bother about
from where; sometimes they only refresh the ads ... .
