[ossig] help: convert dos text file to unix(<CR><NL> to <NL>)

Hi-
does anyone knew how to getting away <CR>
in the text file. I remember there is a tool but
I forgot which one. any tool recommended?

anyway, another question.
I'm using the vi, it's seem not converting,
even though, I used:
:set fileformat=dos

and I did set the vi configuration file .vimrc
as ...
set fileformats=unix,dos
or is there anyway to match the <CR> and delete it?
any suggestion?
