[ossig] Technical workshops in MIMOS?

MIMOS is considering hosting some technical OSS workshops, on
a more regular basis than a yearly conference. 
External presenters would be welcome,  and we'd probably
host in our auditorium which has a capacity of around 150.  Possibly
1/2 day events.  Either free or low cost - just to cover use of
the room + refreshments.  Low key, no paid advertising, no souvenirs,
just community-driven training / info.

Does this sound like a good plan?  Anybody want to step forward
as possible presenters?    As anyone who attended FOSSCON will
agree, those workshop halls were too small and interest in
technical matters was high.

I am on leave in UK for 2 weeks (I fly tomorrow) so please cc me
directly  if you are interested to conduct a workshop (and maybe
discuss it all on the lists as well...)
