Anybody with any coding or administration skills in an open source
technology will do.  The aim is to estimate the size of the OSS
*technical* skillbase.


What I know:

mypenguin99 has 347 members http://groups.yahoo.com/group/mypenguin99/

MIMOS has sent/sold OSS CD's to about 2000 people ... but that doesn't
imply they are developers

my-snort.org has 264 members (maybe 1/2 are technical?)
www.asiaosc.org has 1100 members (but 1/2 at least outside malaysia, others 
non-tech)

Linux counter - 412 registered Linux users (probably fairly technical if they 
care about being listed) http://counter.li.org/reports/place.php#place_country_M

my-opensource.org has ??? members
ossig@mncc.com.my has ??? members



So ...I have no individual stat so far that can demonstrate even 1000
OSS developers in Malaysia...  Of course, many developers won't be
on mailing lists.
