Hahahahahaha! I _just_ wrote about it and had this
very pattern in mind. I told you you'd find out soon
enough...the sad and infuriating thing is, this
pattern is actually quite common in all spheres of
life here...(sigh) I wish I could do to the Malaysian
system what I do with my machines. 

When the previous system was just full of corrupted
entities (files, programs and so on) and stability was
affecting the very hardware (crashes created bad
sectors on my data HDD) it runs on...I wiped out
everything and changed the whole system - this was my
initial migration to linux. Then when it got too
'userfriendly' I migrated again to FreeBSD. Truly,
things have been great since the initial migration. I
can't remember my machines actually crashing since then...
