RE:[ossig] Think Java's really great? Think again!

duh!! dude, to be zealot is another thing, but to be
openly trash a "language", that's war man!! each
language has it's beauty in it, and no language is
perfect. programing language is just a tool. And a
programmer job is is to pick the right tool to solve
the problem. To be extreme, only do you harm, unless
you are a extreme methodology programmer that's
another story:P

c,c++,java,pascal,eiffel,smalltalk,schema,prolog,ruby,
python ... each have it's unique way of solving and
building thing but nothing is best for everything. I
love the simple and powerful c language, 
c++ release the power of c by enable to build more
complex software with more structure way, didn't have
chance to explore more about pascal even though it's
my first programming language, but it's bring me good
memory. eiffel, smalltalk ... the "tok guru" of OO way
of doing thing and elegant implementation. schema,
prolog ... another way of doing thing to solve
computer science problem, only study it in Uni and
still impress by it's idea. ruby, another great
language to know, created by japanese, provide it's
own powerful and elegent idea of how a program should
be program. Python combine the best world of perl(unix
way of solving thing) and OO language. Perl, inherent
most of the powerful unix programming nature, amaze by
the line of code you can do with perl. And many many
more languages that I didn't get the chance to know
them better, and undestand  that ... there must be
something special about them for their "creation".

personally, I not happy with the command because I do
make a living out of java, and I think I should say
something here just be fair to the Java community. I
favor java for complex project and enjoy the support
from industrial framework of web server, application
server, and messaging server and the database object
mapping component, this help me to complete the
project and to save me ton of hours of man work. Love
it's elegent interface implementation and stick to
strong type for catching the error at the compile time
for certain complexity project but hate it's line of
codes to program when compare to python and ruby.
well, what can I said, I still favor java even though
it's not the best langauge or my favor language, but
hey, it's the best for doing certain work for me;) And
yes, java still have my "love" and is one of my early
saver or one way ticket out when I was struggle to
code in that horrible window. can't forget that:) gee
... have you even look at the microsoft codes, it's a
darkness world inside!! 

hmmm, this is a long email, I guess I really feel the
flame:P
