yeap colin i am the C.S from Gordon's class. Such a small world. Anyhow.

For the MAC, ya..i hated it because i had a bad exp with it (things such as 
have to retrieve an somewaht important file from the computer running a MAC 
OS platform while i have no idea about it.) Well maybe HATE is a strong 
word. As for the unit Operating System, for hell no i won't think Charles 
Grief is doing a good work on teaching it, and if you do read the part i 
said the bithcing between all the lecturer's and stuff yeap is refering to 
them ( if you are in robyn's tute you should know what i mean). The unit 
itself does explain the differences of each O.S functionality, and one thing 
you can't deny,most of the tutor/lecturer (other than Charles) actually 
pushing out the benefits of Linux,seeing all the pracs and the whole bunch 
of research we have to do in the assignments. The pro and cons are there, of 
coz, if you do the research for all the assignment questions. Like Tze meng 
said, ya..O.S is leave to what they best doing it, MAC is good for graphic 
stuff (at least that what i know off). Linux is actually much more 
convenient to use and giving user more control on their stuff, hell...the 
only reason i am still using Windows XP is because most of the 
programs/games runs well on it.Although is funny that when i am running on 
Windows i ran a X-windows for the unix GUI, and when i use Linux i used WINE 
to run a Windows API upon X/unix.

I am not saying that Australia is better than Malaysia (i think i do mention 
that in my first email). And there are good lecturer in Malaysia as well, 
i.e Thong Meng and Dr.Hiew, anyone of them teach O.S will be much better 
than Charles. As for the feedback form, i do fill them in. AND HOPEFULLY 
they will make a change. I heard Debbie and Joel gonna take over Charles's 
place,which is a good thing.(however i DO NOT plan to retake this subject 
hence i hope i won;t get to teach by them. ha.)
But the fact is, i guess even yourself realized that the way they teach 
(even when we are using the same teaching materials) is so different. I am 
100% sure that John V.V have no idea what is he teaching in A.Data structure 
last semester, as for Kar Seng, no comment. I am not whinning about all 
these lecturer because i know the way of learning in university is very much 
depend on yourself, or just copy everything and squeeze through the 
exam(which many ppl do,remember one of our friend Renyi).
However is not an issue anymore, Monash Sunway is no longer taking anymore 
intake for Computer Science student.

Last but no least, Internship. Yeap no doubt they pay little for us. Hell, 
my sister only get 450 for working in a Hospital Lab in her internship year 
(she is working in Singapore General Hospital now). However i am not aiming 
for the money, is more like the experience and trying to have a stronger 
resume. -if you think the IT field in australia is flourishing- i obviously 
do not think of that, but is more like i am AWARE of what is going on at 
here. I still can't find any internship trainning program. DO we HAVE to go 
through the connection to get this kinda trainning program?

P/S : Homeworld 2 is a good game but i totally get pwned in Multiplayer 
because i nvr figure out how to adjust the camera angle :p  onhya one more 
thing, is there any shafted or LAN party in Malaysia?
