I think this is a point worth emphasising.
The whole thing is not burned in ROM. There is room to
submit ideas etc - just be prepared to make your case
and defend it. Hence the open 'request' for white
papers.
One thing that we need to really clarify here is that
the OSSPIP stack is to _focus_ or guide people who
want to get involved but don't have an idea what
should be done.
The stack is quite a good idea - at the and of it, you
can say and show that we now have all the pieces for
everyone to use OSS/FS. OSSPIP is to jumpstart a
_local_ eco-system.
I don't think the proposed stack is meant to be
'exclusive' in nature.

Yup, end of the year is not really good time - raya,
christmas, cny. A lot of people will be too
distracted, imho :-P

Could I also ask that the article / ad be posted to
asiasoc or something - somewhere we can post a
one-liner url to anyone who asks.

Hmm...I dunno. OSSPIP does have a nice ring to it.
(eg. pronounced: "os-pip")
