Coincidence? Don't think so. Quoting Jeff Ooi's blog,

"Meanwhile, Jaring CEO Dr Mohamed Awang Lah said April 5 the ISP is
awating the licence from the Malaysian Commission for Multimedia and
Communications (MCMC) to operate a residential broadband service based on
the SOMA Networks' broadband wireless system. "

So what does that tell us? That Jaring, at the moment, does not have the
license to operate on the 2.5Ghz MMDS spectrum, which (I assume) is what
SOMA Net equipment runs on? That by buying out A1, Jaring gets the
spectrum license the 'quick' way?
