This is not exactly an answer, though

 - There have been and will (I hope so) events where you can buy the CDs for
something like RM 3 each.

 - CD*s* ? If you wanted Woody (the latest of almost two years back), a
single one would do. With a bit of luck mine is still around and I could
pass it to you

 - If I were in your place, I downloaded Knoppix and made it install (there
is a script) on your harddisk as Debian; change sources.list, apt-get
update, apt-get dist-upgrade. (Which would still take some 300 MB of
download; I guess)

No chance to carry your stuff to Sedaya ?
