let's not confused getting ISO or CMM certified with creativity. one does
not ensure the other. imo, ISO/CMM is better for those looking to pitch
outsourced and bodyshop services. this would then be the only way for you
to let prospective customers know of your process and methodologies. it in
no way measures the _skill_ and _creativity_ of your programmers. that
only comes thru a portfolio, which is why open source programmers have a
ready made portfolio making them (to me anyways) infinitely more
trustworthy in hiring. less betting on the prospective skill level, for i
can judge it by myself from the public code they've written.
