'fraid so....you may make the best products or provide the best 
services but if you aren't consistent - specifically "not following the 
procedures you documented" or "not documenting the procedures you do 
follow" you will lose the certification

thing is, not many organisations of significant size can ignore 
documentation and procedures without compromising on overall quality or 
consistency
