If there's sufficient opposition, then they just fork kernel 3.0 (or
last stable) and keep it under GPLv2. Besides, Linus is spiritual
leader more than dictator. He can't really change kernel to another
license (other than upgrade to GPLv3 as provided by GPLv2) because all
the other parts are owned by too many people.

Bah. They have too many good English speaking lawyers working for them
for me to believe this. Nor does the English on that site show any of
the stiffness or peculiarities that a non-fluent speaker of English
would put in. This is intentional.
