Galeon is my preferred browser. Simple, powerful, fast.

For windows, try KMeleon (kmeleon.sourceforge.net) It used to be very good, but due to lack of developers, it has not seen many improvements.

Since the UI is native, it is speedier than mozzie, especially on older machines.

Erm, besides that I use lynx when ssh-ing ;-)
