RE: [ossig] Inquiry about hosting
Using root login check this file exist in the following
/etc/init.d/httpd
If it does exist then just run /etc/init.d/httpd restart
Then place your files /var/www/html directory.
This is true for Redhat Linux/Fedora.
If not, you could try the webserver software from www.apache.org

Subject: [ossig] Inquiry about hosting
I've just recently installed Linux on my PC, I was wondering how do I
host web pages and scripts to make my PC as a public server.
In Windows, I install IIS and add the hosting files to the wwwroot
folder to host. In Linux, what do I need to do?
