Njet.
No screensaver about.
There is no DPMS in XF86Config; finally I added a
Option       "NODPMS"
but doesn't help.
The BIOS has the Power Management disabled; in case you were going to ask.
If I
xset -dpms
on the terminal; it wouldn't.
If I do so in an xterm at running X, it will swallow the command
  - and blank after some 10 minutes!

There *is* a difference, though, the monitor will not switch down to 
blinking yellow, but remain with the green power light.
But a black screen.

Ooops, didn't think it was so difficult ... !
