RE: [ossig] Strange behaviour with server...



You could just place the GW's actual IP address on the machine to resolve this. Could be problems with name resolution.

by "contact the GW" i presume you mean ping or some other ip connection.
one thing you may want to investigate is to see if there's another
server/box with the same ip address as yours on that lan segment.
