Wireless on the iBook G4 will not work. And neither will sleep.
Everything else works, CPU scaling works (compile the governer into the
kernel), and have fun 

DVD playback, and CDR/W writing works as well. Use pmud for power
management, and if you're looking at GNOME, acme has taken control of
brightness/volume controls - its a little broken (displays are finicky),
but the action itself works. If you don't use gnome (XFce4/KDE/etc...),
gtkpbbuttons is something you want to have - I find it a lot more useful
than pmud+acme

And mainline kernel 2.6 has full 100% support for PPC based machines...
(no more -benh patches) With the G4, compile it with AltiVec support as
well, ok
