there was an earlier posting by dinesh on a proposed policy for
procuring local content software. this will be a huge opportunity for
open source in malaysia. we need to look at what is local content ? what
added value that malaysia can benefit through open source ? this are the
key economic factors that can really put open source on malaysia's
strategic plans.

big hint: perhaps our newest member from mimos can provide that
strategic link ?
