I thought that was your point #2, that there are more customize project based
on Debian because it has more userbase. Slack probably has less userbase than
debian. However, I am not sure how userbase directly affect likelihood of
being choosen in a customize project, given that they are both clean and
technically sound.
Personally, I have not used slack for a long time even though it has become
really easy to install and good hardware detection over the years. However,
I still feel that this is one OS that is clean and well design. ( Still
install it once it a while just to test it out for a few weeks)
