Dear all, 

        As some of you may have already know that, there's a proposal been 
floated to  form a for-profit open source organisation (name and business 
model pending  and open for discussion), there have been two meetings since 
the initial  discussion and we would like to invite you to  participate in 
the process.  The first order of business is to form a protemp committee for 
the formation process. 

        Proposed nomination period (start/ending): 0.00 12th September 
2004/2359 19th September 2004
        Proposed voting period (start/ending) 0.00 20th September 2004/2359 
27th September 2004

Positions : 

total 5 position.

1 President
1 vice president
1 secretary
1 treasurer
1 committee member


Voting Mechanism : 
commitee 
1) Voting will be based on usenet voting style, all vote should be send to the 
mosig mailing list.  To register yourself with  the mailing list please 
follow the following steps : 

        a)go to http://lists.inigo-tech.com/mailman/listinfo/mosig
        b) enter your name and address
        c) reply to the mail sent to you or visit website to confirm.

Note : Please note, participants are encouraged to register on the mailing 
list 
ASAP. 

2) Voters should send the nomination/vote of their choice, their name follow 
by last 4 digit of their NRIC,  in the case of non-Malaysians, this should be 
their legal name, followed by the last four digits of their passport.  Any 
attempt to double 
vote will be disqualified.

3) Time of vote will be based on the time stamp received by mossia mail 
server, no exception will be made. All early and late vote will be discarded.  

4) Vote will be tallied by Seah Hong Yee and independently confirmed by a 
second person before being announced.  Vote should be tallied within 48 hours 
after voting closed. 

5) Participants/voter will have 72 hours to complaint after the result is 
announced. 

6) Any problems in voting should report to hongyee@hongyee.org.
