ELX Operating Systems Sdn. Bhd., established in year 2004, is a MSC 
Status Company which is a Malaysian chapter of Everyone's Linux Pvt. 
Ltd, India – funded by MAVCAP, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Ministry 
of Finance Inc., Malaysia.

Everyone's Linux Pvt. Ltd., was established in the year 2000 with the 
vision to provide the world with a cost effective alternative to Windows 
Operating Systems ranging from Desktop Linux to Server Solutions.

The Malaysian subsidiary was incorporated as a result of the 
government's initiative to promote the Open Source movement in Malaysia. 
Its presence in Malaysia is very timely due to sudden influx in 
interests towards Open Source and various awareness program by both the 
private and public sector. In Malaysia, ELX is poised to be the market 
leader among other Linux distributions by providing top quality products 
and support, produced locally.
