If Mandrake or Ubuntu is faster than FC2, then I'd ditch FC2 - I have
numerous Microsoftie friends who've said they LOVE FC2, except for the
fact that it's slower on their hardware than XPSP2 is. Counter-points
to that gripe?

And confirmation from the venue owner/manager that the current from
all these PCs won't trip the fuse(s) you're using.

And get a lawyer to sign off on the waiver first - otherwise it might
not cover you entirely, or (worse yet) expose you to increased risk.
If a user can't write a device driver, a hacker can't write legal
docs.

Excellent idea, but where will you find the kinda space you need for
an installfest?
