No. With 16MB of RAM, the X Server won't even start (and I think this is
true for a lot of distributions out there). X usually requires ~24MB of
RAM
FC3 runs, not "fine", but okay, on a Pentium Pro 180Mhz, with 64MB of
RAM. You have to use the text mode installer
FWIW, the installer most likely doesn't even boot with less than 64MB of
RAM - there is a magic number, and its usually above 48MB or so ;)

They won't be pleased, no, they won't be pleased
Try VectorLinux, something Slackware based. I think that runs on
machines w/16mb of RAM. While its nowhere near pretty, it will serve its
purpose in brining up X. Will it run apps? ;-)
