Hey guys,
I've been in quiet lurk mode the past few weeks. :-)
Not enough energy to respond to some posts, sorry if
you're one of them, eh?
Anyway, for those of you whom, like me, are forced
(kicking and screaming) to administer and support
WindowsXP hosts, this short-ish article is a pretty
good read. It's a how-to type article, quite practical
(6 pages):
http://www.tweakhound.com/xp/security/page_1.htm
Reading this you realize that securing a default winxp
install is a hell of a lot of work. Multiply by number
of hosts and you get a huge time-sink. Btw, did I ever
tell you guys that I HATE windows? (All of them!)
