Maybe its time to come out with a Code of Ethics, similar in concept to
that for the Marketing and giving of free samples of Infant Formula at
hospitals and clinics. See http://pcdom.org.my:9673/pcdom/docinfo/infant.htm
Scope of the Code
This Code covers the basic principles of marketing and product
information for *all Infant Formula Products (including feeding bottles
and teats) in Malaysia. *It also provides guidelines on ethical
practices for the Infant Formula Industry and the medical and health
professional/personnel in the health care system.
Milk companies can no longer sponsor "baby competitions". In Fact baby
competitions are banned..
