In this situation i think M$ is the biggest DAP

Building a community is of course not easy... but if humans never try... Rome/Italy will never be built

For students or the committee team who assist us, they will gain some pocket money. For working adults, they can sign up with our mentor program where they will assist students with their open source projects. Some consultancy service will be paid.

We have budgeted RM100k for bounty open source student projects. We will encourage final year students to do open source projects for their final year paper. If it's cool enough, we will fund them with the bounty budget. With that, we believe students would find open source for their projects a thing to look forward to.

Sometime mid 2005, we are planning to organize a mega event something like LinuxWorld, but targeted and powered by students. To make it a success, help from the adult community would be great then.

I believe that in every democracy, there should be a DAP.
Or Taiwainese Parliment for that sake

I agree, but it takes a lot of work.
Wen Kiat, tm, is doing the right thing, but right things does not
necessary lend to successful things.

But that aside, I'm all for helping. What with the magic words "Extra
Income"
