iirc correctly, 802.11g APs aren't approved by SIRIM (or have just been
recently approved) for mass consumption yet. you still see hordes of them
being sold in Low Yat Plaza (over the past *6* months at least) ;)

of course, you don't want to breaking the law now do you...
