It is clear, for now. Public sector only. See following reply below for more
explanation. In a sense, it's a shame that the Getronics MNCC-OSCC have been
deprecated. It's a little late now I guess, but the MNCC could have "twinned"
their OSCC with MAMPU's OSCC.

Right now, it's only open for the government agencies. It's not open even for
their vendors, unless the agencies themselves request it. Arguably, this is a
limitation of the current project scope, but in mitigation, this limitation
is known and acknowledged. Remedy is what MAMPU needs to investigate. The
desire to turn it into a national centre is there.

Yeh, that should be done... Whee ... more meetings, eh? Them MOSIG fellers
should start this, I think (ouch! I think that hit me as well).
In all seriousness, a community push is needed, not just for the MAMPU OSCC,
but also for the government as a whole to see that this open source thing can
be credible and be made to work. Similarly, a strong - STRONG - private
sector push is also needed, both as adopters and providers of open source
stuff. As much as the community and the private sector look to see what these
govmint people are doing, the govmint is also looking back to see what these
other guys are doing.
