Yahoo Group is about as good as a mailing list, might as well use this
one. What I mean is a realtime kind of chat where everyone
participates.

Sure, you could do that if enough of a majority agree to travel to a
certain location (should be easy enough for KL-ites). I'm sorry I
can't attend any meetings in KL though, as I stay far up north in
Penang.

The reason I suggested an irc channel is because it's very easy for
remote participants to get on, and we can do it more frequently than
organizing a physical meet-up.
