Yes, unless you have really rich UI, a web based front end to accounting 
is irritating and tedious.

But having a web based front end to up to date accounting reports is 
important. Or more precisely, always having access to up to date 
accounting reports is important, especially from the point of view of 
decision makers/bosses.
