And rightly so. I've not found anything of use with my MNCC subscription
of a few years. The ossig list we're on was created for OSS-101 students
iirc, and now that that's scrapped, I hardly see the MNCC subscription
as giving me much or anything, for that matter

Oh, the free CNET asiaweek or something that comes in the mail is mildly
interesting when I get to read a whole few months of it at one go. Great
toilet reading

But as someone pointed out, the CICC scholarships are interesting. I've
known someone who enjoyed it in Japan, so if you do become a member try
and get to it (if travelling and living in a foreign country is your
thing)

Oh, I hear the fried chicken at the yearly meetings (agm?) is supposedly
good. Go eat to your heart's content
