This is a paper and pencil exam and so yes it has to be done locally :)

The main advantage of the paper exam is that we can run it more cheaply as 
compared to the computer-testing which is now available at Thomson 
Prometric (http://www.prometric.com) or Pearson VUE (http://www.vue.com/). 
test centres located at major towns over the country.
