Several points of clarification:
a) The closing date for registration is May 29th 2005.
b) The policy for re-taking the exam may be viewed here:
http://www.lpi.org/en/policies.html#retake
c) The policy for expiry of the certification may be viewed here:
http://www.lpi.org/en/policies.html#expiry
d) We are getting a number of requests for the 102 exam. If there is
sufficient demand (I will confirm this towards the end of the month when
we close registration), we will organize the exam on the same day
itself. Students who are prepared can then take the 101 and 102 exam on
the same day itself.
e) You can sit for any LPI examination - you do not need to pass Level 1
to sit for Level 2. In other words, you must have an active LPIC-1
certification to receive LPIC-2 certification, but the LPIC-1 and LPIC-2
exams may be taken in any order.
f) The procedure for taking the exam is fairly straightforward, I'll
email the details for confirmed students later this month.
g) If you can't make it for this exam, don't worry :-) It is our sincere
intention to make this a regular event so there is a good chance we'll
have a second exam.
Hope this helps. Feel free to send an email to myself/list for further
clarification.
Ditesh
