Hi all,
HITBSecConf series of international network and computer security
conference, as you
all are aware of by now, is the largest gathering of reknowned security
experts in
Asia. On top of that, we have a smattering of activities, which of
course include the
ever popular Capture the Flag game. In addition, this year we are proud to
host Zone-H's Hacking Challenge as well.
All of this requires hard work, and that is why, on behalf of the
organizing committee,
we're calling for volunteers to make the event an overflowing success.
We need volunteers for the following:
1. Capture the Flag network setup
2. Training classes network and PC setup
3. Selling t-shirts
4. HITBSecConf network setup
5. Radio Deejays
6. General help
We need people who:
1. Can crimp UTP cables according to EIA/TIA-568B standard _blindfolded_
and know that
they work by using your seventh sense.
2. Dig FreeBSD, and know how to configure complex pf rules while
listening to
Britney Spear's "Hit Me Baby One More Time".
3. Familiar with Cisco routers and can decode traffic patterns based on the
rate of the LED blinks.
4. Familiar with Linux, and your command-line skills are |\/|4|> 1337.
5. tcpdump and mrtg are your best friends
6. Just too damn cool
In return, you'll be given HITBSecConf CREW t-shirt, and an invite to
the post
conference party. And of course the bragging rights are all yours.
So, if you wanna help out (or if you wanna learn) just send your
contact info
(email, mobile) to conferenceinfo@hackinthebox.org
For more info on the event, log on to conference.hackinthebox.org
Cheers,
