The problem is, FC2 did not set the pam in this manner shown by you and
yes, I do not seem to be able to set pam_unix.conf, no such file! I get
the idea, thing is I do not know how to configure on FC2.

account: call_modules=winbind use_ldap
password: call_modules=winbind use_ldap
session: none
call_modules=winbind,ldap
